Abduction Dream? It started with me getting out from bed then suddenly I realised I was been escorted to these hovering seats which took me to this round meeting table with several other people. i have a dream about my groupmates?? aids and HIVs??what does it mean? i have dreamed about classmates. in my dream i was chasing a red car on road that looks like a roller coaster. on a intersection point the red car went up and i went on a wrong road. so for short i lost the red car i was chasing. at some point i stopped in the middle of the road and started backing up to the correct road. while i was backing up the red car showed up and got crashed behind my car. Creation Myth Project. Is it good? Ok, for our English project, we are asked to make a myth like one of the native Canadian ones. It must be at least 500 words.It must answer a question like" WHY DOES THE EARTH SPIN?" If you can edit mine or suggest things for me to do that would be great. Here it is: How Territories First Originated In the beginning, the world was shared. Both animals and humans could bond well. There was no controversy; as peace was easy to maintain. However, there was one tribe, “The Coyote band ” who had always found the need for separation. Citizens were divided into only two tribes; one of which was “The coyote Band”. The other was the “The United Kipwa”. This tribe had only recently formed as it once consisted of many small tribes. Since each also shared many traditions and beliefs, the elders finally inclined on the decision which united all these small tribes. But contrary to the United Kipwa, The Coyote Band had much different beliefs. For instance, unlike “The United Kipwa” they believed that the world was flat. Minor disputes like this continued and soon devastating conflicts began. Battles between both the tribes were common. But this one was like no other! The battle lasted several months. Many lives had been sacrificed; so many loved ones had been killed. Eventually, both tribes had had enough. The elders of the “United Kipwa” decided to meet at Eagles round table which was held the night after the violence had ceased. They were all hoping to come up with a fair solution from which both tribes could benefit. Many solutions were thought of that night but none seemed to satisfy all the members of the round table. Eagle had stated at the beginning of the meeting that the solution would only be pursued if it had been confirmed by all the elders. This made things even harder, but perhaps only that was fair. Days went buy, and still there was no good solution! A quick solution was desperately needed as public disputes and minor battles would surely break out again! Later that week, Bear came up with a solution which he really became fond of. He immediately went to report this to Eagle. Bear described the solution step by step to Eagle. Eagle thought thoroughly about what he had just heard. Not long after, he concluded that the solution was stupendous. But Eagle’s confirmation was simply not enough. Each and every member of the round table would also have to agree. Aware of this rule, Bear set of to spread this to the other elders. The day had gone by, and to his satisfaction , he had now gotten the confirmation from all the other elders. The elders from both tribes determined to make peace and to fix the boundary between their kingdoms. It was determined that somebody should ascend Mount Logan, the tallest mountain peak in all of canada. And from there to shoot an arrow towards the east. Wherever that arrow would land, that would clearly determine the new border between the two tribes. Citizens soon heard of this news. And it was not long before the news reached Swift Arrow; the greatest archer known to man. He volunteered to shoot this arrow. The elders also thought that he would best suit the job. Honored, he set out the next morning. It did not take him long until he reached the mountain peak. Swift Arrow faced north, strained his bow as never before, and let the arrow fly. The arrow flew the entire morning and fell at noon. The people of both tribes watched the arrow as it propelled through the air. It landed 2250 kilometers from the point it was first shot from. People gathered around the arrow amazed. People were relieved. They could now live fearless and peaceful lives. The “Coyote band” remained where they had domesticated before. It was only the “United Kipwa” that gathered there belonging and left to the other side of the border line. And as for Swift Arrow, he was never seen after that day and his body was never found after his death. However, there are still stories from travelers who were lost in the mountain about how they have heard Swift Arrow’s voice which has helped them find their way out saving their lives.

The newspaper said it began examining Levy's record after a local veteran expressed doubts that Levy had been a Green Beret. The Press examined Levy's claims by contacting the National Archives and Records Administration's National Personnel Records Center, which reported Levy had never been involved with the Special Forces. In Harkin's case, the questions that have lingered longest concern his Navy record. Mr. Harkin did serve in the Navy during the Vietnam era, but exactly what he did, and for how long, remain a matter of some dispute. just curious: if I post my whole story, will you read everything? “Remember to smile,” Sophia mutters in my ear as we stroll side-by-side toward the high school building. “I am smiling!” I retort, quiet enough so only she can hear. Sophia rolls her eyes then glances over at me. “Its our first day of school, try to be pleasant, okay?” she pleads. I pay no attention to her, instead I continue to fake a smile and mouth “hi” to the occasional students who throw me a glance. My first class for the day is English with Mr. Peterson, so I tell Sophia I’ll see her at lunch then slouch into the classroom, where I find all the students scattered around the room into groups of three of four, gossiping amongst themselves with no teacher in sight. I cuddle my books and folders closer to my chest and scan the room for an empty seat. “Hey, I’m Maggie,” a cheerful red-headed girl sings as she bounces in front of me. I force my eyes to meet hers, “Hey, I’m Sara,” I reply, squeezing out the smile I had rehearsed many times. Why does everyone here have to be so friendly? “My sister and I moved here from New York,” I add, hoping she wouldn’t ask anything else. I don’t like sharing information about myself, its too personal. The girl moves out of my face, but still slightly hovers over the desk. I ease up a tad. “Oh,” she exhales, “What made you leave New York?” Exactly the question I wanted to avoid. “Uhh,” I stutter, thinking quickly of something to say. “We just felt like the city was becoming to overwhelming,” I lie, staring at the desk. Maggie and the blond exchange baffled expressions. Then as Maggie opens her mouth to further question, Mr. Peterson strides into the room six minutes late. The blond quickly fumbles to her seat across the isle, in addition to the rest of the students. English was long and boring. I mostly zone out and explore my mind, the blond chick’s question rolling around in my head, “what made you leave New York?” The best answer I can come up with is because of my parents’ “death.” I attempt to refocus back on Mr. Peterson’s lesson as the image of my parents car being pulled out of the ocean resurfaces in my brain. Even though I know they’re not actually dead, I still try to avoid thinking about it. My next class is math. The blond girl has second hour with me too, so we walk there together. “I forgot to tell you, my name is Charlotte,” she informs me as we take a seat towards the front of the classroom. I smile and nod, “Hi.” I can’t think of anything else polite to say. Unlike Mr. Peterson, Ms. Stacy, our math teacher, is on time and starts the lesson before the bell even stops ringing. She lectured the whole class, so that gave Charlotte no time to play another round of twenty questions. I was thankful. After math I had gym, then when that was over it was finally lunch; I’m supposed to meet Sophia by the round table in the corner of the cafeteria where Charlotte and Maggie sit with the rest of their friends giggling and carrying on like a bunch of kindergarteners. Sophia prances toward me, with a grand smile on her face, followed by a short hispanic girl and an sporty looking male. “Hey, Sis,” I mumble, attempting to wave, but she crushes me into such a tight bear hug that my arm is forced down to my side. The people of this planet are lost and hopelessly optimistic. They cautiously wait for someone, anyone to guide them…save them. There only hope now is the king of Ukaea, Simon. He is touched by the aches of these people and decides to try and find someway to help them. Now Ukaea is a beautiful and lively world, the mystical forests are covered in tall magical trees and carelessly happy nymphs playing by the river banks. The buildings and castles are made of marble and white stone. The biggest castle, which is where the royal family lives, is on a big hill. It is made with pure white stone and is covered in statues and few jewels. There are also little cottages in the villages spaced out thought this world. The mountains are grey with cloud covered tops. The pure perfection of this world is unthinkable. So why would anyone, let alone the king, risk the sanctity and safety of this world to save another? Although, Simon was a kind-hearted and gentle soul he was very narrow-minded. He didn’t often see things in other perspectives. He always thought that his points were always understood even if they didn’t seem clear at the time. But anyway, Simon shockingly needed advice. He knew he wanted to save Earth, but the question was how? So, Simon decided to call all of the council members to the round table to discuss this matter. The hall leading to the secret quarters of the meeting had black walls and portraits of great fancy. The ceiling was high and had drapes of purple swinging gently from one part of the ceiling to the other. There was also windows that showed the view of the courtyard where the knights were training on there horses. In the room however, there were pieces of amour displayed in glass cases throughout the room. The room had black cinderblock walls and the only light given off was through the small glass doom in the middle of the ceiling. Also in this room happened to be the mildly upset king awaiting the late arrival of the council members. When the councilmen entered through the big, black steal doors there had seen to be chatter among the group. They had seemed to be discussing about the king before they entered. They greeted Simon simultaneously. “Good morning,” they said anxiously. Simon then cleared his throat and stood up from his chair at the head of the table. Not only was the seriousness of Simon’s attitude was intimidating, but strong muscled and tall frame of his body also struck some type of trepidation in the hearts of the councilmen. “I guess you are wondering why I have assembled you here today,” Simon said with gravity in his voice. The councilmen then looked around at each other in agreement. They felt that not only was this meeting unnecessary but obviously a waste of time. Their world was absolutely perfect and was in no type of peril so what was this meeting about was the question they continued to asked in their minds. “I would like to discuss the corruption of Earth. can you help me find my movie? i watched a movie when i was a little kid and i dont know the name.(it was a cartoon) it was about this girl whos father was in i think king arthurs knights of the round table and he was killed trying to protect king arthur from his enemy who ambushed thier meeting. a few years later the girl goes to seek revenge and restore the kingdom to order and meets a blind boy who was made blind when the kings enemy ambushed the meeting they also ambushed the villige and killed his parents (and the girl's) he became blind when fire burned his face. so they continue on together and he teaches her how to fight because when he was made blind he was training to become a knight for king arthur. so he teaches her and in the end they fall in love and defeat the evil knight themselves and rule the kingdom.

Why are some Americans still afraid to discuss Racial issues? I just asked a simple dating question on here about the taboo with caucasian & asian males dating/marrying Black women, and half of my responders "attacked" it. Why is it that we as Americans can't have simple, open & respectful discussion's about racial issues without it being persecuted, berated & met with more cynical, ignorant remarks? That's why we have these problems because people don't want to talk about it. It hurts my soul. Can someone please tell me, honestly, why this is and how you feel about round table discussions on race? P.S. I am not trying to cause a march on Washington, lol. I just want crap like this to stop! So everyone's opinion will be respected And I don't necessarily want to make this a Black & White issue. And no matter how much you hear about this hate crime or that racist remark in the news/media, it still needs to be talked about so that stuff like that won't happen. And honestly, the news only reports about 5% of racial issues. So we need to wake up people.

What was the name of a famous book where...? A long time ago when I was young I read a book about... There was a little boy who was disabled, pushed around in a wheelchair, but was really really smart. He loved king arthur and the round table, and he met one guy who was heaps older and a lot taller than him, and they became friends. He was the brawn, the little boy was the brain. They went on adventres and the little boy called the lady who looked after him (or the taller boys mum, I cant remember) the fair quenevere. Then the boy had to go in2 hospital, and he lied to the older boy and kept telling him the operation was so he could get bionic legs, so he could walk. When he died in there the older boy was devastated and thought the doctors had lied to the little boy and told him he was going to get bionic legs. He then realised that it wasnt the doctors at all, and the young boy knew he didnt have much life to live, and he didnt want thhe older boy to be upset so he lied. I always remmebered this book. I believe it is quite famous, and I hope to read it again. It is a childrens, early teens book I think. It possibly has a name like elaphant--------- something. if anyone could help :)

Since she had lost this round of gunfire, she decided that she would no longer fight in this war of words between her mother and her father. Her intention was to leave this house, once and for all. This time, her determination to leave seemed genuine. Her strawberry-blonde hair flew through the air in streams as she nearly catapulted herself out of the room. Her mother and sisters stared behind her as she made her way out. She was always the first and last one in the room to make a scene. Her mother put her book down on the side table, got up out of her rocking chair and walked to the middle of the Persian carpet that lined the hardwood floor. She watched as her eldest daughter stomped up the stairs to her room on the third floor. “Don’t bother saying goodbye! I don’t want to see you ever again!” she yelled down the stairs as she crossed the loft into her room. There was no response. Her words echoed through the entire house. The usual realization of her indifference caused little grief to Candace, since she had spent years putting up with her mother’s attempts at using her to get more money out of her father. The warm water rinsed away her salty tears that had started streaming down her cheeks. She was relieved to be upstairs, just so that she could avoid crying in front of her mother. She thought about these details as she washed and conditioned her hair. She let the water rinse her thoroughly, then finally stood in the shower for a while just to feel the warm water fall on her body. She thought that was a sensual experience of sorts. Met an amazing woman yesterday but what do I do now? I was at a business conference yesterday and couldn't help but notice this incredibly attractive young woman sitting at the next table. I kept trying to focus on the speaker but she was all I could focus on. After a break, I took a seat at a round-table discussion and looked up to find her sitting across from me. We introduced ourselves and it was all I could do to keep my composure. There was a sign obstructing our view of each other and when she moved it out of the way I looked up and smiled at her. I caught her staring at me several times during the discussion and then she followed me to the next round-table where we were actually able to talk one on one for awhile. Not only did I find her unbelievably attractive physically but she had an amazing personality and a brilliant mind. Our conversation just flowed and I was disappointed that we didn't have time to continue talking. She came up to me at the end of the conference and said how nice it was to meet me and I told her that I hoped to see her again soon. Help with workplace bullying? I have finally cracked under being bullied at work. I have been there for 3 years and and humiliated and angry and finally sick. I have been humiliated by poeple at my work all the time. At times it will settle then something will happen and the person/s will advertise it at the top of there voices if something has gone wrong, even though if the y make a mistake I fix it and don't say anything. My bosses know it has been happening and I have spoken to them unofficially quite a few times. The HR lady asked me once if I wanted to make it official and she could maybe organise a round table discussion and I said no ( I was terrified it would set if off worse. Even one of the ladies that is doing it apolgoised last year and told my boss in a meeting that she was discusted with the way I was being spoken to by .... . We have been friendly at times but then it would all blow up. I have spent thelast 3 years sucking it up ignoring it, going into a shell and not speaking to anyone. Last thursday was the worst and friday was the longest day I have ever had I spent half the day trying not to cry when my eyes welled up telling myself I am strong not weak. When I drove away from work I broke down. They have finally gotten to me and I can't go back. My blood pressure is borderline high it has always been low. I hgave blood approx 4 months ago and actually had to lie down at work and call the doc on the hotline my face was burning up and I was severly dizzy. I had to get a family member to pick me up. Since then my blood pressure is alot higher than normal and I get face flushes when it fels like I am blushing severly even though my face only ffels warm and I will break out into a sweat for approx 30 secs. When going to sleep friday night I realised I was burying myself in my pillow and mattress. My nerves are shot I can't stop shaking internally, I cry instantly when I think of work, My whole body is heavy and feels like it is swaying eventhough outwardly it isn't. I am going to call in sick in the morning and go to the doctors. When I got hime friday night I was going to quit because I honestly can't go back to work. But if I quit I lose my house and if the company turns on me I lose the house. I haven't documented all the things because I beleived I was weak that there was something wrong with me, I wasn't a good worker etc. I'm not going to do anything to myself in that mind I am strong but very very weak with work. My brother believes I have to call a lawyer tomorrow and report it. I called the Employee Assistance Program earlier and broke downtalking to him. He wants me to call the OSA tomorrow and get counselling and get them to resolve the issue. I don't know what to do or who to believe. Help anyone???? My nerves are slowly calming but I don't know how I will go back at work because unfortunately because it affected my nerves so bad it also affected my speech whenever I spoke to HR or my boss I stutter extremely bad and haven't for a long time. So I will calm the nerves and them the speech. HR told me to take time off and relax. I just hope they are behind me and I don't get shafted I have heard so many horror stories. My employer made me give my tip to another? I work as a cocktail server where we have our own sections. My co-worker was pulled from the floor to have a short meeting with management. While he was gone he received a table in his section. I served them a round of drinks. I continued to wait on the table after he came back from the meeting. This table ended up with a large check and at that point the other server demanded his table back. When I didn't give it back, he complained to management. I waited on the table for the duration of the evening and went home with a 20% tip from the table. My next shift my manager pulled me aside and told me that I had to give this other server 85% of the tip I made to the other server and apologize to him for taking a table in his section. I feel cheated because this was my earned money not his. Is it legal for management to make me give my tips to another server that didn't do the work?

Sometimes people would just smile or say a quick hello. Roan and Morgan had always been there for me. Sarah, not so much. I had a lot of friends, actually more than a person can imagine, but only a couple months before then did it start getting weird. My dad was a navy seal, but he didn't travel like the rest of his collegues. My mom was an average housewife. She wore aprons as if they were and accesory and her pixie-like hair was a very........noticable red. She cooked and cleaned, like every other mother in Seamount, Illionois, and carpooled all my friends every week to school. They were both very free, in a sense. I remember that fateful day whenever I see my parents' pictures. I woke up on my back, smelled bacon, burnt from my dad's expertise, and imagined all that heat. I dragged myself downstairs to the kitchen and saw a disgusting sight. My two older brother and sister, Isabella and Josh, were stuffing their faces as if they were famished. I had a visible, fake smile on my freckled face and I sat down in one of the ugly wooden chairs. My food was already on the table but my dad, Ray, pushed the plate to the edge of the table, meeting my flat chest. I was shiny, not in the sloppy and gross kind of way where I never took showers. My face was always clean as soon as I washed it. Hey Skeptics - If Jesus was just a `myth` then why does history divided into BC /AD? OK, so the skeptics say that Jesus never existed OR that He did, but the stories we have are highly exaggerated, OR have become changed over the years. So how come all of history is divided into BC and AD after this so-called myth/legend? I mean did someone hold a meeting* in the 1st or 2nd century and say; "OK guys, we need to get a new calender out there so we can control the masses and make some money. So we need to say we a re appealing to a higher authority, some kind of divinity, to give some kudos to the whole thing.. whadda we got - round the table lets go?" Then someone pipes up "Err, well I heard about this Jesus gut that rose from the dead, or at least kinda rose from the dead, I think. Bunch of peasants in Rome just got torched cos they thought He was pretty cool" Then the table all agrees! "Hey, I was going to go for Zeus, but Jesus sounds OK" I mean is THAT how it happened, just a deliberate contrive? OR is there some genuine reason that history is center around Jesus Christ? Thankyou so much.? oKAY so this wasn't recently but awhile back one of the Extension program teachers had called a meeting for just the girls in the conference room. (Btw im a senior in high school and the Extension program isn't like regular school its from 3pm until 6pm) anyway one of the female teachers wanted to talk to all the girls (only like 12 were in there) so anyway we are all sitting in this round large table and the teacher was talking to some of the other girls that were having problems with each other about there behavior and I happened to raise my Head and glance and another girl was just looking at me because I happened to catch her eye and then I looked away. She is a pretty girl btw as well as me Im not saying she is a lesbian I knw that she isn't. I don't know her at all like that by I was wondering why she was looking at me lol. and another girl across from me looked at me to and then away. Im quiet I keep to myself I talk to this one girl now and then some of the girls may think im being stuck up or ignorant or whatever just because I choose to keep to myself and not trying to make friends but I don't care. Ok, I kinda want to ask this girl out but...? Well, I met her over the internet. Through myspace actually lol. Yea I know, crazy. but yea, I think I talked to her before though so thats why I added her and me and her started talking alot on myspace. Yesterday, I decided to call her up. She does seem intereted in me and she said she wanted to hang out with me and stuff. She thinks I am real nice and sweet. So obviously at this point I am suppose to ask her out or something. but here there is a problem, my car has recently broke down on me and I have to wait intill March to get a brand new one. otherwise I would pay way to much money to get my old one fix which has so many problems. I wish I can just wait intill March but the thing is she MIGHT lost interest in me if I DONT make a move!! I have thought of an idea, ok, she has a car, so I thought maybe I can ask her to meet me somewhere around my area, there are places where I can walk too and there are a few resturants around me. but the only one that stands out though is Denny's and there is a starbucks coffie shop as well, and a round table pizza. what's the most you've ever eaten in one sitting? haha i had a swim meet one time and swimming makes people REALLY hungry! like i can eat a full meal before i go to practice, and come back and eat like 2 full meals. so now, i just wait till after practice to have dinner :) so after my swim meet one time, i had all but 3 slices of a large pepperoni pizza from round table pizza. and i still wasn't full!!! but other than that, i've NEVER eaten that much in my entire life haha. what about you?? that's why i said AFTER my swim meet.

Help!!!!-Am I A Bad Friend? Today, at lunch my friend (girl) and three other friends that are boys met up with us. We were all sitting at a round table. I was sitting next to my friend's ex. I know she still has feelings for him but they broke up two years ago!! I can't help the fact that me and him are really good friends. Anyway, the other two boys were talking to each other and my friend had to get up for something. So, i was kind of bored. Then her ex started flirty with me. He started to go a little to far, so i said, "easy tiger". He replied, "this tiger just wants to **** you up". I said, "meowww". Then my friend came back to the table. I started talking to her again. But while we were talking her ex's hand was touching my inner thigh and it kept on moving up....until.... After they were all gone and it was just me and him...i screamed at him....i was like, "why the hell where you doing that...." He was like, "if you didn't want it then you shouldn't of flirted with me...and acted like you wanted it". Then after a little more fighting we started to kiss.
