Where can I find a table base for a glass table top? We have a 42" in diameter, round, glass table top that we need a base for. All the table bases I find online are not made for glass. They apparently need to be "captured rim" so they hold the glass in, but if there is an alternative, let's hear it. It is going in an office as a small conference table, so it needs to be dining or bar height. I am beginning to think such a thing does not exist. Any suggestions?
did mahatma gandhi ever take a plane? i know he took a ship (he mentions in his biography that he was stuck in a storm while on the sea and also attended the round table conference in london) and i know he took a train (famous incident in S. Africa), but did he take the plane?
Was gandhi against Depressed Class peoples? Eventhough gandhi gave support to poor peoples, did he really oppose full rights to Depressed Class peoples? is that gandhi was against Dr. B. R. Ambedkar after first round table conference?if not y gandhi went on an indefinite hunger strike from September 20, 1932 since british government gave equal rights to Untouchables? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poona_Pact
can sum1 help me edit this biography gandhi? (nd paraphrase it?) the last letters of the biography are "atic" Gandhi was the leader of the Indian nationalist movement against British rule. Remarkably, in the midst of our most violent century, he prevailed in battle without guns and swords. His title Mahatma connotes his spiritual reputation. The Mahatma used his religious power for social reforms and the abolition of the caste system. Gandhi was born in India but studied law in London, and in 1893 went to South Africa, where he spent 20 years opposing discriminatory legislation against Indians. In 1914 he returned to India, where he supported the Home Rule movement and where he organized nonviolent civil disobedience campaigns as a means to gain Indian independence. In 1930 he led a 200 miles march to the sea to collect salt in defiance of the government monopoly. In 1931 he attended the London Round Table Conference on Indian constitutional reform. After independence (1947), he tried to stop the Hindu-Muslim conflict in Bengal, a policy which led to his assassination in Delhi by a hindu fan make sure it is 4-8 sentences long with all of the important details! (whoever helps me do this i will DEFINITELTY vote this as the best answer in the world. THANX SOO MUCH!!!!
Should you try to interact socially at a business conference? I just went to a Conference out of state. Almost everyone there came with either their spouse or their colleagues. There were maybe one or two other people who were alone other than myself, and I rarely saw them. Whenever I came for meals, the tables were big round tables for big groups. Sometimes I would join at a table where there were a couple people, but I felt that I was interrupting them. I ended up sitting by myself in all the classes and meals. I'm a little new to the whole conference culture. Should I have tried to interact more with people or was it reasonable for me to keep to myself in that setting?
Do you agree with this philosophy of Ian Chappell and Tony Greig ? They say that a great batsman is one who can get a big score and can get it quickly. That's their criteria to select great batsmen. According to Ian Chappell, Boycott wasn't a great player because his strike rate wasn't good.He has even said this in a round table conference. You can listen to his comments on Boycott on Utube (Name-'Ian Chappell humiliating Boycott') They say that the great players of their time were Sobers,Barry Richards,Graham Pollock & Viv Richards. (Note-No mentioning of Sunil Gavaskar who scored 13 centuries against West Indies during 70's and 80's, obviously left out because he was a defensive player) Recently Tony Greig said that the 10,000 run club is over-hyped and called Dravid an ordinary player (Not directly,he tried to be smart but obviously it was for Dravid) He said any club which doesn't include Bradman cannot be used to describe the best batsmen. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ How much do you agree or disagree with this? So according to this philosophy- *Gavaskar wasn't a great player. *Haneef Mohammed wasn't a great player. *Geoffrey Boycott wasn't a great player. *Rahul Dravid isn't a great player. *Jaques Kallis isn't a great player. *Steve Waugh wasn't a great player. According to this philosophy, Sehwag should be the second greatest batsman ever. *His last 10 test centuries have all been 150 including few double hundreds and a triple. *He scores quickly,2 of the 3 fastest triple hundreds have been scored by Sehwag. He became the first guy to score 250 runs in a day in more than 50 years. So Sehwag is better than Dravid?
I had a very strange dream. What does my dream mean ? Please somebody tell me. Thank you.? I am a woman. I had a dream last night. In the dream, some men were sitting in a circular manner like a round table conference and laughing and talking. One particular man who was very handsome had a very wicked laugh. He was looking out of a window and laughing wickedly and talking. I believe he saw me from inside the window. I came near the window from outside. When they saw me, they immediately got up and ran away. What does this dream mean ??? I am a woman. I had a dream last night. What is the best way forward to call for absolute unity between the christians and the muslims in a global way? An organization known as ChritsLam was founded by Dr Ebenezer Ampofo in dorset portland United Kingdom in 2008 as a main sustainable development strategy to bring all members of Christianity and Islam to a round table conference to remind ourselves about the action implementation acts of policies and pro grammes on Global freedom and justice, as far as religious faith understandings and beliefs are concern. Hellsing, the anime? I just finished watching the anime Hellsing. It was great but there were some things that I did not understand. One of the main things that I did not understand was what was really going on in the last 3 episodes of the anime? From what I could understand, the Queen abandoned the Hellsing organization and left them to die, I guess you can say. Can anyone clarify what happened in the last 3 episodes? I know in the last one Alucard fights with Incognito and kills him by melting the silver cross and using it to impale Incognito, which is a reference to Dracula of how he used to impale people. But what was happening with all of the fighting at the Tower of London and at the Round Table Conference? Also what happened at the end of Episode 13? Was Integra Hellsing locked in prison or what? Alucard shows up and asks her for something. What was it?
This poem means what? The Permanent Delegate - Yuri Suhl My name is Jew. I come from the land of skeleteon. They beat me in Berlin, tortured me in Warsaw, shot me Lublin And I am still here -- the ash of my bones a glowing monument, a fiery headstone. I am the scorched hair of a virgin's bright curls smoothed and patted by anxious hands I am a maddened mother's futile tears soothing in vain a hundred anguished hurts. I am the spasm of a body convulsed in flames, the crumbling of a skeleton, the boiling of blood, shriveling of flesh, smoudering ash of six million -- ashes of body, of brain, of vision, of work -- ashes of genius and dreams, ashes of God's master stroke -- Man. Count the limbs gentlemen -- match them if you can in pairs. It can't be done. For I am one ghost of six million. Out of all the ashses I have become one And the dream lies broken and spit on. I am here to tell you, gentlemen it's a lie -- the world is not yet Hitler-free. Millions see it, condemn it, cry out my pain and warn you. But you are moved like a granite statue by a prick of a pin. Therefore I have come, uninvited, unwelcome bringing a message from the land of skeleton. I am grafting my ash to your souls. I am hanging my dreams around your necks. I am blotting out the sun from your day with my shadow. I am tearing the quiet of your night with shrieks of my tortures. I will beat at your conscience with the hands of a million dead children and I will pick at your brains with my maggots Yea, though you split the atom to infinity you will see my face before your eyes. I sit at all the round tables At every conference I am a delegate, my credentials signed by six million from the land of skeleton and you will never get rid of me until the world is Hitler-free. So, I need to know the deeper meaning of this poem, because we are studying it for a project.
Not my shoes, what do I do!!? I just got back from a meeting at work, we were all sat round a large conference table and it was a long boring meeting. As I always do I took my heels off under the desk and sat there most of the time with them off. When I came to leave I put my heels on and left. I thought they felt funny as I was walking back to my office, but as I was talking to some colleagues I thought nothing of it. Now I look down when I am back at my desk and the they are not my shoes. They are black 4" heels like mine, but these are definitely not mine. The toes are much longer and far more pointy and the heels are much thinner. What do I do!!? The meeting was in another building at work, and all the other girls that were there work in lots of different buildings, most of them i don't even know there names. I have just gone back to the meeting room, and there is no one there, i cant just email the origaniser i will look like a right idiot. Some one has got to notice, these heels are nearly new and killing my feet as they are a size too small. Looks like i am going to have to walk round looing for my shoes, else it will be a long walk home in these. So its been two days since and I have heard nothing, I have worn the shoes to other meetings, and all around the buildings, no one has said anything, looks like I am stuck with these.

How do you like Thompson's immigration proposal ? NAPLES -- Republican Fred Thompson said Tuesday the government should yank federal dollars from cities and states that don't report illegal immigrants. In his first major policy proposal, Thompson challenged presidential rivals Rudy Giuliani and Mitt Romney by criticizing ''sanctuary cities'' where city workers are barred from reporting suspected illegal immigrants who enroll their children in school or seek hospital treatment. ''Taxpayer money should not be provided to illegal immigrants,'' Thompson said at a round-table discussion that included Collier County, Fla., sheriff Don Hunter. Thompson has argued his rivals are soft on illegal immigration because Giuliani, as New York mayor, sued the federal government to keep his city's sanctuary policy and because Romney tolerated sanctuary cities as Massachusetts' governor. In turn, Giuliani's campaign accused Thompson of being weak on the issue. At a news conference Tuesday in Boston, Giuliani said: ``I'm the one who can bring about immigration reform.'' The immigration issue is important to many conservatives who influence Republican primaries. Some argue that illegal immigrants are straining schools and hospitals and taking jobs from U.S. citizens. Thompson chose to announce his plan in Collier County, which has vast tomato farms that hire thousands of immigrants and last year was part of a two-county sweep that saw 163 illegal immigrants arrested in one weekend. Thompson's campaign said 22 percent of the county's crime is committed by illegal immigrants. Under Thompson's plan, sanctuary cities would lose discretionary federal grants, as would colleges and universities that allow illegal immigrants to pay in-state tuition. The former Tennessee senator also called for stronger laws forcing employers to verify that workers aren't illegal immigrants, for a more rigorous system to track who is coming in and out of the country and for increased prosecution of ''coyotes,'' smugglers who bring illegal immigrants across the Mexican border. Calling for stronger border security, he said: ``A small amount of nuclear material could do a lot of damage in the wrong hands. It makes you wonder why a terrorist would bother going through an airport or a port ... when we have an open border.'' http://www.miamiherald.com/campaign08/story/281362.html

Met an amazing woman yesterday but what do I do now? I was at a business conference yesterday and couldn't help but notice this incredibly attractive young woman sitting at the next table. I kept trying to focus on the speaker but she was all I could focus on. After a break, I took a seat at a round-table discussion and looked up to find her sitting across from me. We introduced ourselves and it was all I could do to keep my composure. There was a sign obstructing our view of each other and when she moved it out of the way I looked up and smiled at her. I caught her staring at me several times during the discussion and then she followed me to the next round-table where we were actually able to talk one on one for awhile. Not only did I find her unbelievably attractive physically but she had an amazing personality and a brilliant mind. Our conversation just flowed and I was disappointed that we didn't have time to continue talking. She came up to me at the end of the conference and said how nice it was to meet me and I told her that I hoped to see her again soon. I'm trying to figure out if she felt the same way about me that I felt about her. Any thoughts? The company she works for does work for my company and I found her email address on their website. Would it be out of line to email her and tell her that I really enjoyed talking with her?

question for those who make dumb mistakes? I have to ask, is there anyone here that often makes mistakes that are avoidable by common sense? I ask because I wanna see if i'm alone here. I tend to make errors that don't really require much thinking, such as, one time when i was working at Round Table Pizza as a pizza delivery person, I had to deliver pizzas to a conference room where there were about 30 people. my mistake was that I brought only 6 peppers and cheese packets. I didn't realize my mistake after I went back to the restaurant and the customer called us back and complained about the shortage of those side peppers and cheese and realized I didn't need counting lessons in order to have known how many of those packets I should have brought. I usually bring 6 of those things, and I got so used to bringing only 6 that I failed to realize how many more customers I had at that time! That's just one out of many errors I had done before. So I ask if there's anyone who is also like that, someone liable to stupid mistakes if you don't think extra harder. If you're not like that but you know someone who is, let me know as well.
Solve The Problem?? The area of a rectangular conference table is 133 square feet. If its length is 6 feet longer than its width, find the dimensions of the table. Round each dimension to the nearest tenth of a foot, if necessary. a. 8.9 feet by 14.9 feet b. 9.2 feet by 14.4 feet c. 9.2 feet by 15.2 feet d. 8.9 feet by 14.6 feet
When Wall Street nearly collapsed????? When Wall Street nearly collapsed Would panic prevail? That was the question gripping the world in the days surrounding the fall of Lehman Brothers on Sept. 15, 2008. One year after that terrifying Monday, the people who struggled to cope with the financial crisis share what they were thinking as chaos broke out. Mohamed El-Erian: Hit the ATMs Chief Executive and Co-Chief Investment Officer of PIMCO On the Wednesday and Thursday after Lehman filed for Chapter 11, I asked my wife to please go to the ATM and take as much cash as she could. When she asked why, I said it was because I didn't know whether there was a chance that banks might not open. I remember my wife sort of pausing and saying, "Are you serious?" And I said, "Yes, I am." We had long felt that the world was increasingly in disequilibrium, and by March of 2008 we decided that things were critical and that the unthinkable was thinkable. We went so far as to cancel everybody's holidays for the year, and as the Lehman weekend approached, it was all hands on deck. The actual weekend that Lehman filed, the investment committee worked every day round the clock. I remember boxes and boxes of doughnuts and pizza all over the conference table because we were always there, going through the different possible outcomes. The firm had been preparing for catastrophe for a long time, but even so, there was a sense of apprehension because things were accelerating very, very quickly.
Can anyone review or offer improvements to my letter requesting funds for my Eagle Scout Project? Isaac R******** * ******** ******** *******, New York ***** ***-***-**** Friday, March 13, 2009 Dear (insert name/business/organization here), My name is Isaac R******** and I am a Life Scout and the Senior Patrol Leader of Troop 4070 in *******, New York. I am asking for donations for my Eagle Scout Project. But first, let me tell you a little about my career in Scouting. On March, 2002, I joined Boy Scout Troop 4070, and it has forever changed my life. Last September marked the beginning of my twelfth year as being a member of the Boy Scouts of America (B.S.A.), five years as a Cub Scout and seven years as a Boy Scout. I was also a member of Venturing Crew 4079 (Venturing is a division of the Boy Scouts of America) for two years, one of which I served as President. In 2005 I was inducted into the Order of the Arrow, Scouting's National Honor Society. In 2006, I attended a week-long National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT) conference, where I graduated. In 2007 I was asked to return to be on the NYLT staff, which required one-hundred and eighty plus hours of public-speaking and leadership training. And in June, 2008, I was promoted to be my unit’s Senior Patrol Leader, which is the highest office of authority that a youth member can hold. I currently hold the rank of Life Scout the second highest rank in the B.S.A., but I plan to change this. Early last January I began planning out my Eagle Scout Project and on Thursday, March 12th, it was approved to begin by my District Round Table Committee. After a lot of measuring, pricing, and writing, I am ready to begin. For my Eagle Scout Project I plan to give leadership in designing and building five bookcases for the library at Saint Agnes School. Each bookcase will be custom built to fit its location and the books it will be housing. The bookshelves will be built to match neighboring bookshelves, and finishes will be matched to adjacent bookcases or at the school’s preference. In addition, I will also enter two bookcases’ worth of unprocessed books into the library’s catalog system. My project will benefit Saint Agnes School because the bookcases will replace broken bookshelves, make uses of otherwise unusable space, replace temporary, makeshift bookcases, and house books that were recently acquired by the school that currently have no place to be stored. Cataloging the books will also save countless hours of time for the librarian. To accomplish, or event start, this great task, I need the help of (insert families/businesses/ originations) like you for funding. I must raise about $815. I humbly ask you for a donation, any donation to help me purchase supplies and materials. No donation is too small. I hope and plan to have all the money by April. However, the sooner I have the funds, the sooner I may begin, which will give me more time to complete the project (it’s due in early May). (For your donations I will formally invite you to my Eagle Scout Court of Honor which I would like to have in late July or August.) OR (For your donations, I will inscribe a plaque with a list of contributing businesses & originations of which you will be part of. This plaque will be placed on one of the bookcases.) If you have any questions, feel free to contact me either through mail or phone. Thank you so much for supporting me and this origination which has brought me years of adventure, discipline, leadership, friendship, direction, and experience. Sincerely Yours, Isaac ****** R********
Is my teacher overreacting? In 8th grade math class we celebrated Pi Day 3/14 and were reading a kiddy book relating to pi and circles, the name was like, Cir Cumference and The Round Table or something. The teacher made me read, and when I got to a word the looked like circumcised, I said just that. The class cracked up, and yes, I did it on purpose. I got wrote up and have a parent teacher conference and detention. Overreacting? I tried to cover up that it was intentional, but it didn't work, and my voice cracked. The reason we were reading the book, is because the teacher wanted to keep us busy. We are the advanced math class, btw.
Could someone read and answer please? Thankyou so much.? oKAY so this wasn't recently but awhile back one of the Extension program teachers had called a meeting for just the girls in the conference room. (Btw im a senior in high school and the Extension program isn't like regular school its from 3pm until 6pm) anyway one of the female teachers wanted to talk to all the girls (only like 12 were in there) so anyway we are all sitting in this round large table and the teacher was talking to some of the other girls that were having problems with each other about there behavior and I happened to raise my Head and glance and another girl was just looking at me because I happened to catch her eye and then I looked away. She is a pretty girl btw as well as me Im not saying she is a lesbian I knw that she isn't. I don't know her at all like that by I was wondering why she was looking at me lol. and another girl across from me looked at me to and then away. Im quiet I keep to myself I talk to this one girl now and then some of the girls may think im being stuck up or ignorant or whatever just because I choose to keep to myself and not trying to make friends but I don't care. Im a senor and don't have time for drama I have my own friends and really don't need fake ones. so yeah but I was just wondering why do you think she was looking at me?
Dream interpretation: anyone wanna try analysing this? I was in trouble for something, and was sent to this little conference room by myself to wrap wedding cakes in fancy cellophane paper. The conference room was round and there was a huge blonde-wood table in the middle, which is where I was working. When I'd finished, I got out, and went outside, and I was in a really odd-looking carnival with rides and stuff on it. My two-year-old son was with me, and I wanted to go on this huge, but really tight-looking, and geographically impossible rollercoaster which looked like the unsafest thing in the world. I was terrified and yet strangely accepting of the prospect of going on it. I chose not to, because I had my son with me and felt it would be irresponsible. Things I noticed/paid attention to? There was squeezebox music playing at the carnival, and it was fairly quiet. Other than my son and I, and a few carnies, there weren't many people around, and I felt really distanced being there. The sky was a hazy sort of overcast grey.
The main characteristics of the Royal Family and John O'Farrell's attitute towards it.? Actually, this is my homework, but the text is really really difficult for me to understand (+ I am a zero in policy -_-), so, I would be very thankful if someone could help me at least a bit. Here is the text: What price a prince? When underground trains pull into Green Park station, the electric Tannoy recently began announcing: "Alight here for Buckingham Palace". This is very considerate of them, but I don't think the Queen has started using the tube just yet. On Thursday, Buckingham Palace proudly boasted that the royal family had halved its expenditure over the past 10 years, although most of that was probably achieved when Fergie's credit card was cut in two. The Queen's treasurer even went so far as to claim that the royal family now actually gives more money than it spends. Those poor royals must be getting really fed up with subsidising our luxury lifestyle. Prince Philip must keep seeing ordinary people in their three-bedroom semis and saying: "Why do they need that expensive Ford Minder in the car port? You know, in Sweden the subjects cycle everywhere." "Well, I know these ordinary families are expensive," says the Queen, "but they do do a lot for charity. And think of all that money they bring in tourism..." Sir Michael Peat also listed dozens of cutbacks that the royal family had made over the past year, while insisting that the search for savings would continue. Sir Michael has the job description of the "keeper of the privy purse". Well that's one economy that could be made for a start - why does the Queen need a purse in the privy, let alone someone whose job it is to keep it? Maybe they still have those old-fashioned lavatories where you have to pay a penny to get into the cubicle, and because Her Majesty doesn't carry money, we're paying fifty grand a year for this bloke to stand outside the royal privy all day with a purse full of old one penny coins. This week's press conference was part of a sustained PR effort to open the royal accounts and justify the huge amounts that are still spent every year. Closer scrutiny of the royal finances had been long overdue. For example, it was discovered that helicopters were being used for journeys of only a few miles - such as going to the bottom of the garden. Use of the royal train was costing £30,000 a trip, although it was only £28,000 if they travelled after 9.30am. And less money is now given to the Ogilvys for Lady Marina, since it was discovered that she was in fact a car that they'd bought from British Leyland in the 1970s "No," said the Queen, "we're going to have cut back on non-essentials." At which point Prince Edward packed his bag and left. The rest of them sat round the kitchen table and all agreed to try to find a way to make savings. They let go of the footmen who took the corgis for a walk by carrying them in a sedan chair. But even after they'd cancelled the subscription to the Sky Sports Dressage Channel and agreed to stop buying What Castle magazine, they were still £30m over. The Queen thought she could save a few more pence if she simply handed her mum the telegram for reaching 100, but it was still not enough. Then she looked at her phone bill and realised that she could update her "friends and family" list, as she doesn't ring those numbers in Nepal any more. Maybe the only way to make any real dent in the cost of the monarchy is to introduce a public finance initiative. This is supposed to be the solution to everything else, so I don't see why the royal family should be spared. Private companies could be brought in to run the royal family more efficiently. Foreign dignitaries attending state banquets would have to queue up and opt for Chicken McNuggets or Big Mac and fries. This will never happen of course; this is the British royal family we are talking about, not just some school or hospital. Funny how it's only the things that we really value that we can't afford to pay for.
Is this story good? i'm a terrible speller, get over it. not to mention its only a rough draft..... but thank you for reading
Why right to mineral water and electricity are not Fundamental Rights ? Have you been to a conference of ministrers of central.state govts on drinking water management ? All of them are in agreement that water from the municipality taps are more than safe for human consumption. And the same is true at the village level as well .But just look at the mineral bottles on top of the round table . They will swear by the purity of the contents and make no bones that they personally do not take tap water even when they considered safe by their quality deptt. Look at the NEON light Sign boards advertising ' HAPPY PERIODS ' and for such products which should have been considered very private otherwise.Have you seen any brationing on the NEON LIGHT advertisements when villages after villages are waiting for their turn to commit suicide on ceiling fan ? What our constitutional experts say on this ? Why we have excesses at one end and scarcity at other places If anything paid for is OK then govt should get out of the offices they occupy to govern .
Why were the Bulls still winners AFTER Michael Jordan retired? Jordan retired in October of 1993. The critics predicted gloom and doom for the Bulls. (I was one of these critics). Some even declared that without Jordan, the Bulls wouldn't even make the playoffs. After all, Jordan supposedly carried those stiffs to three titles, right? Because Jordan waited so late to retire, the Bulls were not able to pick up an adequate starter in free agency. They settled with Pete Myers from the CBA. They were set up to fail. Myers had a defensive reputation, but no where near that of Jordan, who had been named first-team all-defense 6 times and won the defensive player of the year award. Furthermore, Myeres hadn't even played in the NBA for the last two years, and he never averaged more than 5 points per game. How can you replace Jordan's 32 ppg and all-world defense with this guy? The Bulls were set up to fail. These predictions were also made - and all of them were reasonable assumptions, as you will see. The Bulls would be a much worse team without Jordan. They would probably slip at least 15 games. If Jordan would come back, the Bulls would automatically win the title. Scottie Pippen and Horace Grant would probably score more points, but they would shoot much worse, as defenses focused on them. The Bulls would shoot much worse without Jordan. Assumption 1: The Bulls would be a much worse team without Jordan. They would probably slip at least 15 games. The first assumption was declared by nearly everybody. Even Bulls coach Phil Jackson predicted a 15-game slip in his autobiography, Sacred Hoops. He based this upon the retirement of superstars from the past. Replacing Jordan with Myers should have been detrimental. However, the Bulls only slipped 2 games: from 57-25 with Jordan in 1993 to 55-27 in 1994. How could this be? They should have fallen apart. The answer is that Jordan simply wasn't as instrumental in taking the Bulls to another level as thought. I'm not saying they could win a title without him. He did make them marginally better, but not significantly better. Look at Jordan's elite peers: if you replace Wilt Chamberlain, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar or Bill Russell with a C.B.A. center, do you expect a 2-game drop? No way. If you replace Larry Bird, Oscar Robertson, or Magic Johnson with a C.B.A. player, do you expect a 2-game drop? Think again. Why did Phil Jackson predict a 15-game drop? Because he knew the impact that elite players had on their teams. Look at the table below and ask yourself why Jordan's impact was so minimal? Year before losing player Year after losing player Team Player Regular season Playoffs Regular Season Difference (# of wins) Playoffs 1969 Celtics Bill Russell 48-34 Championship 34-48 -14 Missed playoffs 1973 Lakers Wilt Chamberlain 60-22 NBA Finals 47-35 -13 Lost in first round 1-4 1974 Bucks Oscar Robertson 59-23 NBA Finals 38-44 -21 Missed playoffs 1988 Celtics Larry Bird 57-25 Conference Finals 42-40 -15 Lost in first round 0-3 1991 Lakers Magic Johnson 58-24 NBA Finals 43-39 -15 Lost in first round 1-3 1993 Bulls Michael Jordan 57-25 Championship 55-27 -2 Lost in 2nd round 3-4 To make matters worse, the Bulls lost in the 2nd round of the playoffs to the Knicks in 7 games. In Game 5, Scottie Pippen received one of the most unfavorable calls in playoff history by referee Hue Hollins when he was called for a foul on Knicks' rookie Hubert Davis, that allowed Davis to go to the line and win the game. If you are a real Bulls fan, you'll remember the call. I was cheering for the Knicks in that series, and even I admitted the Bulls got hosed. The Bulls should have won that series. I believe that would have defeated Indiana in the finals. They owned them in the regular season and the Knicks handled the Pacers. I don't think they had any chance of beating the Rockets in the finals without Jordan, but I do believe they could have got there without Jordan. It's all speculating, but it's not unreasonable speculation. Face it Jordan Jockers, Scottie Pippen was the REAL REASON for the Bulls success. Jordan was just a coattail rider! LMFAO!!! MICHAEL JORDAN SUCKS!!! What do you kids think?
